Yodel is looking to recruit an experienced Business Auditor. We are looking for a candidate to support the business by reviewing the integrity of the companys operations, enhancing business performance, protecting its reputation, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing value-adding assurance to the board and management regarding our systems and controls.
The main duties of this role will include, but not be limited too, the following:
Take responsibility for a varied portfolio of risk based audit reviews; ranging from Service Centre activities reviews, through review of support function controls to ad hoc reviews, potentially relating to data protection and security.
Using your ability to think strategically and outside of the box, you will be challenged to identify commercial and practical solutions to control issues and then present back to the business.
You will also be tasked with proactively identifying potential areas for further review within the business, and then feed this into the annual planning process.
Contributing to the development of processes within Internal Audit to continuously improve the overall quality of audit work.
Develop new work programmes / identify opportunities for improvement within existing test schedules.
Develop the role/brand of internal Audit within Yodel.
Timely feedback of audit issues to internal customers
Effective management of internal customers in multiple functions/geographies
Previous experience of leading audits of a complex business with multiple locations.
Thorough understanding of risk and control.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex issues that may affect multiple functions.
Excellent communication, analytical and report writing skills.
Strong focus on delivering assigned objectives in a timely & efficient manner.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Excellent IT skill set
Other Features of the role:
Field based role largely covering a designated geographical area of the country, (north and south), therefore extensive travel will be required to multiple locations car required for role.
